Our future is in our own hands. Technology is a tool to enhance the human experience, not one to bludgeon nature into some false and impossible submission. If we do not get back to being a willing and generous partner with nature, nature will treat us as the ungrateful children that we are. And the resultant destruction of civilization will indeed appear to be suicide.
